36th Annual Meherrin Powwow – Bloodrive.
Oct 4th 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Meherrin Tribal Grounds
We are excited to share that we have successfully negotiated a mutally rewarding agreement with The Blood Connection.
The following are details to this agreement:
– The Blood Connection will donate $10.00 for each person who donates their blood to the tribe.
– In appreciation, we will offer free gate entry for the donor.
– Each individual donor will receive a $30.00 gift card to be used anywhere.
– This arrangement is a win-win, supporting our community while encouraging participation.

– Post and promote on our various platforms.
This initiative matters deeply to our community because:
– The blood donated stays local to our hospitals and our community.
– We are the First tribe to host a Powwow with a blood donation component.
– Many of us can relate to needing blood for family or ourselves, so this cause resonates personally.
